Life has a way of pulling us in every direction — between caring for others, navigating health challenges, and carrying the invisible weight of daily stress, it’s easy to lose ourselves along the way.
I know this intimately. My years as a caregiver for my parents — through cancer, chronic illness, and dementia — and my own recovery from heart surgery taught me one powerful truth: if we do not create space to nourish ourselves, life will eventually demand it for us.
This is why I created The Helicopter Daughter — originally founded as a store, it has since evolved into a sanctuary: a studio where women can reconnect with themselves, embrace intentional living, and find simple, sustaining ways to bring calm, resilience, and joy into their lives.
Inside my studio, you’ll discover a different kind of space — one that offers coaching, tea, and experiences designed to slow the pace of life and nurture the body, mind, and spirit. Through one-on-one self-care coaching, small group programs, studio workshops, and my signature Badass Tea Society, I invite you to step out of the noise and back into yourself.
You’ll also find:
✨ Carefully curated artisan teas to support daily rituals and wellness practices
✨ Self-care tools that foster restoration and ease
✨ Heart-healthy and mindful living resources inspired by my own recovery journey
✨ Coaching experiences that help you craft a life centered around strength, grace, and intention
Every idea and program I create is designed to help you breathe a little deeper, move a little slower, and reconnect with what matters most.
As a Certified Health Coach and Certified Self-Care Coach, I bring both professional training and lived experience to the work I do. I have shared my story on New Day Cleveland, News Channel 5, and as a guest speaker at a variety of local support groups throughout northeast Ohio focusing on Cancer, Grief and Chronic Pain where she speaks about the importance of Self Care and its impacts on Mental and Physical Health.
Through my Self-Care for Caregivers Program, Self-Care Reset Program, Slow Mornings Reset Program, and a variety of seasonal studio experiences, I support women navigating caregiving, grief, health recovery, and life transitions — helping them rediscover strength, peace, and joy.
Whether you join me through coaching, a workshop, or a simple moment of reflection with a cup in hand, my hope is that this space helps you remember:
You are worthy of care.
You are allowed to rest.
You carry strength and beauty within you.
And taking care of yourself is not selfish — it is one of the bravest things you can do.

Each product is thoughtfully chosen based on how it can benefit a variety of individuals whether picking up a gift for a loved one battling an illness or just looking for ways to take a moment, breathe or relax. We strive to select products that share our same values. In addition, we try to select products that are made by small businesses throughout the USA and/or made locally by handcrafted artisans.
These values guide everything I create—whether I’m leading a workshop, blending teas, or sitting with someone in a coaching session.
I believe in doing the right thing, always. Everything I offer—coaching, studio experiences, or the teas I create—is chosen with care, grounded in honesty, intention, and trust.
To me, growth doesn’t mean hustle—it means healing. I believe in life-long self-discovery, in honoring where we are while gently moving toward who we want to become. I bring that belief into every session, every program, every conversation.
I've lived through seasons of caregiving, grief, and healing—and I carry those experiences with me in how I serve others. I meet people where they are, with compassion and understanding, because I know how much that matters.
